Shaun Thompson
Dr Shaun A. Thompson is the founder of expatdental® and a member of the group’s leadership team. Originally from the United States, he played a key role in establishing expatdental® in Singapore in 2013, following several years of practising and supporting expatriate families locally.
With a background in general family dentistry and interests spanning cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, facial aesthetics, dental sleep care, and sedation dentistry, Dr Thompson continues to contribute to the clinical philosophy and direction of expatdental®.
His approach has always centred on clear communication, thoughtful planning, and the use of modern dental technology to support comfortable, well-coordinated care. As a husband and father, he brings a strong appreciation for the importance of positive, family-friendly dental experiences.
Dr Shaun earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) with honours and leadership recognition from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis.

Jena Caruso Muñoz
Jena C. Munoz is an American trained attorney who has practiced law since 2003. Jena’s legal experience comprises a variety of practice areas including civil litigation, municipal tax and property law. Her background includes trial experience in both state and federal courts, including appellate jurisdictions. She has been practicing corporate law and compliance in Singapore since 2014.
Ms. Munoz received her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with honors from Bates College, Maine (USA) in 2000. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctorate degree (JD) with honors form Boston University School of Law, Massachusetts (USA) in 2003. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, American Bar Association, Women’s Bar Association and the Singapore Corporate Counsel Association. Jena has served as a clerk to judges in both the Massachusetts State Superior Court and Federal District Court of the United States.
Jena joined expatdental® in 2014 and currently the Chief Executive Officer.

Lyn Adnan
Since joining Expat Dental in 2014, Lyn has assisted with and overseen multiple dental procedures and specialties. She uses her experience as a skilled leader to manage a team of Dental Assistants. She has 12 years of operations experience in the dental sector and uses those skills to ensure our Novena Medical Center clinic runs smoothly and every patient’s experience is comfortable, safe and efficient.
She enjoys meeting and working with individuals from different backgrounds and finds fulfilment in ensuring all patients welcomed at Expat Dental receive warm and sincere hospitality and care.
In her spare time, Lyn enjoys adventures and spending quality time with her family.

Saumya Sahi Kumar
Saumya brings both clinical and operational expertise to the expatdental® group. She holds a Degree in Dental Medicine from Pune, India, and practised clinical dentistry for over 11 years at a leading multi-specialty clinic in Mumbai.
As her career evolved, Saumya transitioned into management, developing deep experience in patient care, clinic workflows, and supporting dental teams within modern practices.
At expatdental®, Saumya focuses on the overall patient journey — helping ensure each visit is calm, well-managed, and seamless from first contact through to follow-up care.
