Facial Aesthetics

Aesthetics delivered by doctors focused on facial anatomy and structures

We all want to look our best. expatdental® provides facial aesthetics treatments that are both fast and noninvasive. One of the key benefits of getting non surgical procedures vs surgical procedures is that they are typically more affordable, minimally invasive and have lesser side effects and recovery. Injections of muscle relaxant and dermal filler are available at expatdental® in both Singapore clinics. Our experienced dentists use muscle relaxant injectables for cosmetic and therapeutic purposes, especially in the treatment of clenching and grinding.

Why Get Facial Aesthetics from a Dentist?

At expatdental®, we don’t believe cosmetic dentistry should start and end inside the mouth. Dentists are highly trained in dental anesthesia techniques and the facial anatomy and structures. We feel this helps our dentists deliver a consistent and effective treatment. While you can improve your smile significantly with dental procedures, your smile is just one part of what you present to the world. Our dentists take special care to make sure your smile fits within the framework of your face. Easy ways to improve the look of your smile is to also evaluate how we can improve the surrounding area and reduce traits such as nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and downward facing oral commissures.

We also offer dermal filler therapy to help restore the lost volume in the face. As people age, the soft tissues loses volume due to the lose of collagen and dissipation of fat pads. This is why older people develop deeper folds and wrinkles in their face. Dermal fillers are one of the ways to improve the appearance of deep lines and wrinkles. Like other injectables, patients enjoy their immediate effects, reasonable cost, and simple procedure. Dermal fillers can be placed in the forehead, temple area, tear trough, nose, cheeks, lips, nasolabial folds and marionette lines.

FAQs

On average, cosmetic injectables lasts 3-4 months. This actually depends on the patient and how quickly their body metabolizes the active ingredient in the injectable. For some, it can last longer, in that 4-6 month range. For others, it could be closer to the 2-month range.

It primarily depends on the type of dermal filler being used. Certain dermal fillers can last for 6-12 months, while other fillers can last for up to 2 years. How your body metabolizes the filler is also a key part to how long it will last. More movement in some areas means the filler will dissolve at a faster rate.

This is entirely dependant on what you want done. Our dentist will work with you to outline a treatment plan with the associated costs.

Cosmetic injectables can be used all over the face to treat a variety of concerns.

They are commonly used to treat forehead wrinkles and frown lines, crow’s feet, marionette lines, corners of the mouth, smoker’s lines, neck bands and sagging brows.

Fillers are commonly used to treat the forehead, temple area, tear trough, nose, cheeks, lips, nasolabial folds and marionette lines.
