Custom Veneers for Your Unique Smile

A great smile can have a positive impact on our personal and professional life. But not everyone is born with great-looking teeth, and the usual wear-and-tear doesn’t help either. Dental veneers can help bring out the best in your smile and can help to ensure that your teeth are functioning properly as well.

A Closer Look at Dental Veneers

Imagine a smile that’s tailored just for you. Veneers are ultra-thin, custom-crafted layers that enhance the front surface of your teeth, helping to address imperfections like discolouration, cracks, gaps, misalignment, or unevenly sized teeth.

Whether you’re seeking a subtle refresh or a complete transformation, veneers offer a versatile solution that balances function, beauty, and your individual needs. With options ranging from handcrafted porcelain to carefully sculpted composite, we tailor each smile to match your goals, budget, and lifestyle.

Our personalised approach ensures your veneers complement your unique features, giving you a smile you’ll love to share.

How can I be sure that dental veneers would look good on me?

If you’re unsure about the smile you want, don’t worry—our technology allows us to create a natural look that perfectly complements your unique features.

During your record-taking session, we’ll gather x-rays, digital 3D scans, photos, and videos to understand your teeth and facial structure. Using this data, our Smile Transformation team will digitally design a smile tailored to your facial features, skin tone, and personality.

Our advanced CAD and CAM technology ensures that the design integrates seamlessly with the natural relationship between your teeth, lips, speech, and smile. During your “Trial Smile” session, you’ll even get to preview and wear your new smile design to ensure it’s exactly what you envisioned.

This process gives you confidence in your transformation, knowing your new smile is truly made for you.

How It Works
Smile Transformation process

1. Smile consultation & data gathering

Our dentist and you will talk about your concerns and expectations. After we understand what you want, we'll get a baseline of your teeth and facial form by taking x-rays, digital 3D scans, photographs and videos.

2. Smile Design

Using the data we compiled, we'll create a Smile Design together that tries to reflect what you want but also considers the established relationship between your speech, teeth, lips and smile. This is when we can revisit and adjust your design.

3. Treatment plan

We don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Our team will map out the various ways you can get the smile that you want, while also taking into consideration your budget and how quickly you want the transformation.

4. Trial smile / smile prototype

Once we agree on a design, we create a "trial smile" so you can see exactly what your new smile will look like. You can even wear your trial smile home so you can get the opinion of your family and friends.

Hear from our Founder
It's really important that we work to get it right.

A core philosophy in expatdental®’s Smile Transformation is making sure we work towards giving clients what they want, and not what we THINK they need. In every Smile Transformation case, we believe it’s important for our dentists to go shoulder-to-shoulder with you on your journey and do everything we can to provide you with the smile of your dreams.

You might have heard many terms when it comes to creating a new smile such as Smile Design and Smile Makeover. At expatdental®, we call our digital process Smile Transformation because that’s what we believe it can provide to our clients – and that’s what we’ve seen firsthand in some of our patients.

Frequently Asked Questions

Veneers aren’t the only way to enhance your smile — sometimes a simple whitening or a short course of aligners (like Invisalign® or smilogy) can do the trick.

Veneers may be a good option if your teeth stain easily, have chips or cracks, or need extra support for their shape and structure.

The best way to know what’s right for you is to chat with your dentist. Together, we’ll look at your goals and recommend what suits you best.

Both porcelain and composite veneers can improve the shape, colour, and appearance of your teeth, but they differ in how they’re made and applied.

  • Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-made shells created in a dental lab and then bonded to your teeth. They are highly durable and stain-resistant.

  • Composite veneers use a tooth-coloured resin that is carefully layered and shaped directly onto your teeth in the clinic. This option can often be done in a single visit and is usually more affordable, but may require more maintenance over time.

The lifespan of your veneers depends on the type you choose and how well you care for them.

  • Porcelain veneers are highly durable and can last around 10 to 15 years, or even longer with good oral hygiene and regular dental visits.

  • Composite veneers generally last about 5 to 7 years and may require touch-ups or replacement sooner, but they are easier to repair if needed.

Our team will help you decide which option best suits your smile goals, lifestyle, and budget.

The integrity of your natural tooth structure is very important to us, so we always take a conservative approach.

How much needs to be removed depends on your individual teeth and the type of veneer:

  • Porcelain veneers usually require a thin layer of enamel to be gently removed so the veneer fits naturally.

  • Composite veneers often need little to no tooth reduction, as the material is carefully built up directly on the tooth.

Your dentist will discuss what’s best for your smile while preserving as much healthy tooth as possible.

Everyone’s smile is unique, so the number of veneers you might need depends on your goals and your natural teeth. Some people choose just a few veneers for their front teeth to brighten and balance their smile, while others prefer a more complete approach for both top and bottom teeth.

We’ll take the time to understand what you want to achieve and recommend the right number of veneers for you — so you’ll always know what to expect, with no surprises along the way.

Our team will discuss the best number of veneers for you during a detailed consultation, so you know exactly what to expect before treatment begins.

Veneers are designed to be strong and durable, similar to healthy natural teeth. With proper care, they can handle everyday biting and chewing with ease — but like your own teeth, they aren’t indestructible.

To keep them in good shape, avoid using your teeth to open bottles, bite hard objects like ice cubes or nuts, or as tools. Treat your veneers kindly, and they’ll help you enjoy a beautiful smile for years to come.

Veneers are an investment in your smile, and the cost depends on the type of material you choose and how many veneers you need.

We believe in being upfront about costs — your treatment plan will be completely personalised to suit your goals, budget, and lifestyle. Payment plans are also available for certain treatment options, so you can plan your smile transformation with confidence and no surprises.

Veneers are designed to look natural and feel comfortable. With careful planning and precise smile design, they fit closely to your natural teeth, so they shouldn’t look or feel bulky or fake. The goal is always to be as natural as possible.

Our team will discuss the shape and thickness that suits you best, ensuring your smile stays balanced and in harmony with your features.

Veneers are securely bonded to your teeth and generally don’t fall off on their own. However, just like natural teeth, they can chip or become loose if exposed to trauma, excessive force, or habits like biting hard objects.

Good oral care and regular check-ups help keep your veneers secure and looking their best for years to come.

Not at all — caring for veneers is very similar to looking after your natural teeth. Brush and floss daily, and see your dentist regularly for professional cleaning and checks to keep your gums and veneers healthy.

Good oral habits help your veneers look their best for years to come.
